Our Experience

Wight Economics' senior staff and associates have carried out work for a wide range of industry clients, both public and private sector.  They have extensive experience of working closely with engineers, scientists, lawyers, bankers, and accountants.  In particular, our technical understanding of the energy sector ensures that our advice on commercial and policy issues is both relevant and practical.

They have also carried out work on projects commissioned by the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the EU, and the Asian Development Bank.

Their collective experience of electricity industry assignments includes work in the power systems of:

  • England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland;
  • the Republic of Ireland, Italy, Spain, and Greece;
  • many of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, including Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, and Kosovo.
  • the Middle East, including Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and the UAE.
  • Australia and New Zealand;
